MEDITATION         AND     MEDITATION

 

        

 

Meditation: is the most powerful technique. There are many ways of meditation. All system, tradition and religion have its meditations. However are we doing it, as it should be? Is it the right meditation according to our needs, to our development? Can we improve our meditation for a better result and achievement?

 

What is meditation?

Meditation is a technique to transcend the usual limitation of human consciousness. It enables us to access to higher levels of awareness.  The stillness during meditation slows down the metabolism of the body, which relaxes. It has a great therapeutic benefit.

 Meditation allows, to increase our awareness of our physical, psychic and mental bodies, to master our different selves and to connect with God, the Universal source of life within and all over the Universe.

Meditation allows us to grow and become more spiritual. It is the main objective of our life.

 

Characteristics of meditation

-Beta (waking state), Alpha, (meditation, hypnosis), theta (light sleep state) and Delta (deep sleep state)

-Relaxation, Slowing down the frequency of the mind, increase of awareness, increase of consciousness

-Importance of the breathing in meditation

-Observation-Detachment

-Meditation,without or with senses (eyes, nose, ear, taste, touch)- and emotion

-Control of the mind- meditation on only one object, one point, one idea, one thought etc.

-The best moment for meditation: between 4h30 to six, at the moment of the sunset or any time.

Motivation

According to our motivation, the meditation will be different:

·         Meditation on object, on a word, on mantra, on reading, song etc.

·         Meditation  on physical body

                                               -Meditation for internal nourishment

                                               -Healing meditation

                                               -Meditation for exploring disease- body scanning, questions

·         Meditation on astral body
              -meditation on the breathing ( one will all creature, one with prana)          

                      -meditation on the mind ( dynamic meditation)

                                                            -observation of sentiment, emotion, quality, default, obstination –

                                                            - reprogramming on positive thinking, on  spirit quality)


              -meditation on intellect ( discernment, judgment)

·         Meditation of the causal body, on the Ego, on the conditioned soul

·         Meditation on microcosm and macrocosm

·         Meditation on universal soul (super soul, transcendental , omnipresent)

·         Meditation on Logos, God within

Preparation

-          Release of tension, flexibility, especially of the spine.

-          during meditation , spine should be straight ( lying down, sitting, standing or in movement)

-          Body relaxation

-          relaxing environment

-          spiritual reading

-          mindfulness- mind control

-          effect of repetition on the mind

Invocation and prayers

-          Call for inner healer, spiritual guide, ascended masters, helpers, God, soul and Monad etc…

-          prayers  for the service to the humanity ( not egoistic prayers), for Union with God etc.

Pratyahara

-          observation, detachment, Non -Identification

-          No senses (Yoni mudra)

-          No mind, no thinking ( Unmani mudra)

Mind control

                -Mindfulness- peacefulness, serenity

                -Interiorization, auto analysis

Visualization- imagination in alpha

                -Very powerful tool: “whatever one can imagine, one can achieve”.

                -Depend on the objective of the meditation

                -The goal must be seen clearly to become real to the brain and the nervous system

                -Our self-image is the key to success or failure, adequacy or inadequacy.

Three steps:

 

1.       Concentration,

                -With the use of the mind and the will

                -Focus on one object, one point. One idea etc…

                -The 7 questions: who? What? where?,  how? which?, why?, when?

                -No other thinking

                -Fix the 3rd eye, the point of the nose, the heart or the column

                -Other exercise: concentration on tic-tac, on water, or on music

                -Introspection

 

2.       Meditation

                -Subtle expansion of the field

                -Development of the awareness, of the intuition

                -Harmony with the interior mind

                -Attention

                -Wisdom

                -Union with God

                -The objective of the meditation should be very clear

                              

-          meditation on thought: just observe

-          meditation on the breathing

-          meditation on the organs

-          meditation on the chakra

-          meditation on natural beauty

-          meditation on the 3rd eye

-          meditation on OM

-          meditation on universal blessing

-          meditation on the 7 rays

-          meditation on a request

-          meditation on kundalini

-          meditation on the 5 elements

-          etc

3.       Contemplation -Samadhi

                        -is an extension of the meditation

                        -The aim of the Yogi is to obtain pure bliss, to reach auto realization, liberalization

                        -No thought

                        -The subtle senses are activated clairvoyance, clairaudience etc…

                        -Changes in the personality

                        -Serenity, wisdom, compassion
